Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Well, it’s been busy here in Sutton Towers. A baby, work and surgery for my son. All doing a lot better now, and things seem to be calming down. Apologies for not updating the blog.
In the last couple of months, I’ve got the UltraMax Apex with RES, a VACAVapour sport kit and an iAtty.
Vapourtrails.tv is catching on despite me not being on it much! :) I’m doing a show this Sunday - and next weekend then on holiday for a couple of weeks in France…
I’ll be vaping by the pool - and I hope, reporting live from France… if the internet allows. If not, I’ll be coming back with an hour Franch special.
Anyway, I promise to update this blog more often… :)
Keep vaping…

I’m a lucky YouTuber. I have over 400 subscribers. I never expected so many people to watch and enjoy my videos. I’ve always made videos - and before vaping, I made videos about videos - projects and ideas I had.
My other YouTube channel is here:
Those other videos - except for certain music videos I have made - didn’t ever get many hits. Looking at the YouTube Insight - I can see my top video as Smoke2Vape is my review of the Iolite. Nearly 4,000 hits, and it’s a fairly recent video too.
I find this amazing, why is that? Is it because a lot of people smoke weed? Does it appeal to a wider audience than e-smoking or vaping?
It’s really important to me that vaping gets out there… general knowledge of this great product. I’ll keep making the videos if you keep watching them! Thanks again for your lovely comments and subscriptions.
It’s appreciated - and the more people who know about vaping the more likely it is to keep going and not be banned but short sighted governments.
Thanks again,
Andy/Smoke2Vape
I’ve done a video about this but I’m so impressed I thought I’d do a written review too!
A couple of days ago I got a package from Toby from iVapour with a tiny little weird looking atty in it. The design is similar to the small mini-cigs that are sold with starter kits. This is very different though.
First of all it’s a standard 510 so it’ll fit your Riva, Tornado, Ego - but it’s the device you choose has to have enough power. I tested it on a Double Barreled Silver Bullet on a 18650 2400mah 3.7v battery and it transformed my head into a meat smoke machine. I mean - LOADS of vapour, and it was tasty too. Really good flavour, I would say the BEST I HAVE HAD.

It has an exposed bridge - and the drip tip slips over the top and sleeves the atty. This means that when you drip e-liquid in it, you direct drip onto the coil which feeds the coil (atty) with juice.

You can’t run this powerhouse on a standard 510 battery. It needs more oomph from a battery over 450mha. They rate at 1.7ohms which is crazy low, but because these are not made in the same way as the standard Chinese atty’s they work like a charm…
Some Atty’s are great with flavour - but lack vapour and vice versa, but this little 306 from Cisco really delivers the best of both worlds.
My only down side of this is that it’s a drip fed atty, and I really like the freedom cartomisers give, so having to drip restricts it’s everyday use. I vaped solidly on this atty for a day - challenging myself to get through a Saturday just dripping and I did find it a chore - but repaid by tasty clouds of vapour.
For the same reason, if stealth vaping (in public places) is required, the 306 makes it almost impossible. But as a vaper - clouds of vapour = happy! Public = confused.
If you’re already dripper - this is a dream machine. If you are new vaper - then give it a go to try dripping at it’s very best. Great vapour - i mean EPIC and flavour reproduction like I’ve never had.
Going back to a cartomiser was a little bit of a shock - in comparison to the 306 it’s lacking in flavour, but for me, the convenience of a cartomiser makes them my all day vape still, but with a 306 for home and office vaping - I really have discovered a very satisfying vape at 3.7v.
In conclusion, I love it, but I still find dripping a headache - but I’m willing to put up with it as the flavour and vapour is some of the best I’ve had. Get some. Get some!
Cheers,
Andy/Smoke2Vape.
The UK VapeFest in Tamworth on October 23rd 2010. www.ukvapers.com
What a huge, epic day of vapour related fun and some serious chat about the future. I’ve shot 90 minutes of footage. Now, editing down to 10 minutes! :)
Video should be up tomorrow!

Well, as my kids would say… 2 more sleeps. The UK vapefest in Tamworth is near upon us and it’s gonna be COOL. Really looking forward to it.
You can find out all you need to know about it HERE.
The MiniFest in York was a great day - so if that was anything to go by, this is going to be “off the hook” - that means good. I think.
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to meet my fellow vapers and vape like a vapey thing that is covered in vapour.
I’m so glad my cold cleared off… I’m back to my vaping best, and on the day (internet permitting) there will be a LIVE USTREAM SHOW. Details will be published on Twitter - so if you have not already - follow me, and check it out.
I’m also doing an all out FEATURE documentary short about the fest of vape. GREAT.
Anyway, if you hare coming on Saturday - see you there - if you can’t make it - see you on Ustream! :)

I remember when I smoked if I over did it, my lungs ached. I remember also that when I had a cold, it almost always ended up a chest infection. Coughing up brown yuck. Sorry, that is disgusting, but true.
I’ve just been hit… struck down with a big cold. An epic man flu that has robbed me of my normal vim and vigour for work, life and vaping. In the same way I knew I was getting a cold because I stopped “enjoying” the experience of smoking. I’m finding that vaping is the same, but with the advantage that I knew that smoking (with a cold) was so wrong, but I had to do it… or I’d be ill, snotty and REALLY GRUMPY too.
Am I tempted to fire up an analogue? No way. Noooo way. I can safely say that I’m over smoking. Vaping means a lot to me. It’s changed my life in so many ways.
So, at the moment, vaping with a cold means 5-6volts on a pass thru. Big flavours like Menthol, Camel and fruit flavours that I wouldn’t normally vape when cold free.
I guess, as the old sniffer isn’t functioning properly - taste receptors are not working to their full capacity. Hitting the menthol also does clear the nose holes too.
Anyway - enough Paracetamol induced ramblings and back to moaning like a congested ghost on “Most Haunted”…
Back to the 5v Menthol action…. Achooo!
